Dear Mary and Dale Westbrook:

I find it is necessary to write this letter concerning the German Shepherd dog, Ranger, we acquired from you. I looked at your web site first among the many that are on the net.

After talking to you Mary and Dale, I was absolutely sure that the dog I was going to get from you was the dog that would meet our family needs. I was wrong! Ranger far exceeds our expectations in every way.

I have had owned and handled shepherds most of my life but Ranger is special.  I believe the things you did to prepare the dog for the trip and transition were great. I believe Ranger has already accepted me as his alpha and Ranger is warming up to the rest of the family.  He loves to play in the snow.  Puts his head down like a snowplow and searches the snow for his rope toy.  I had a police officer at my business yesterday and he was amazed how Ranger searched and found his kong so fast.

All the follow up calls for your advice have been right on the money. I feel as though I have known you for a long time, even if it's only over the phone.

I am sending you pictures of Ranger in his new environment, I hope you enjoy them.  If you have any potential Dog lovers on your web site that want a reference from me, please feel free to have them contact me either by e-mail or telephone. Thanks for a great Dog and I bet you miss him. You can be sure he will be loved.

Hi,

In early 1996 my husband and I decided that we wanted a German Shepherd and started to do some research.  Just the decision to purchase a dog was a big one.  We have always had "pound" puppies but from my research on German Shepherds I discovered how important it was to find one that had been bred for its temperament and health.  Adobe Kennels was not the only kennel that I visited but when I met Dale and Mary my decision was made.  I saw many beautiful dogs in my search but I could tell that Dale and Mary not only knew their business but truly loved their dogs.

On February 8, 1997 I got my puppy and have never had any regrets.  His name is Midnight Max and he is now 89 pounds of pure joy.  I did not buy him to show or to breed although he is absolutely beautiful.  I have been approached about both of those things but all wanted was a healthy, intelligent pet.  I don't really know where to begin about Max.  Max is very sweet but is also protective while not aggressive. He loves children and playing ball.   I have 2 boys who have put Max through every "test" and he has passed with flying colors. He has never even nipped one of the boys.  He was long ago "kid tested, mother approved". His play drive is very strong.  I have also been approached by policeman who think he would make a great drug dog. Max is very intelligent and has succeeded in both obedience training and agility.  Max also makes a great travelling companion and makes me feel very safe in motels.  As you can tell, Max is a real part of this family and we all feel that we could not have gotten a better dog.

I am a totally satisfied customer of Dale and Mary Westbrook and would highly recommend Adobe Kennels.
